Welcome to St. Raphael’s

I am delighted to welcome you to our wonderful school.  St Raphael's school community has a warm, loving, family atmosphere and I am confident that any visitor to our school will also experience a warm welcome and soon feel right at home. 

We are a Christ-centred community. Our teachings are rooted in the Gospel values. This means that every child is known, valued and loved as an individual. Our mission is not simply to educate children academically but to nurture the whole child: spiritually, morally, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

Our school mission, ‘As we walk with Jesus, we love, live and learn’ is embedded in all that we do. We support children to live out our school virtues of respect, compassion, love and friendship. Whether families are practising Catholics, from other faiths, or of no faith, everyone is welcomed with respect and warmth. Our Catholic identity shapes our values, our relationships and our commitment to serving others. 

We are very proud to be part of the St Carlo Catholic Academy Trust, along with 7 other Catholic schools in Ealing.  Together we strive to ensure that every child fulfils their God-given potential and flourishes and thrives within our school. Being part of the trust means we work closely with other schools, sharing expertise, professional development and best practice while maintaining our own unique identity and strong Catholic ethos. Ultimately, this partnership provides greater opportunities and resources for our children and staff and helps us continually improve the education we provide.

Our pupils are our greatest ambassadors. Every visitor to our school mentions the exceptional standards of behaviour exhibited by our pupils. Here you will see pupils striving to live out our mission.

Central to our aims as a Catholic school, is to ensure that we work in a spirit of partnership with you, our parents, developing our respective roles and responsibilities, to teach children about respect, mutual understanding, and to deepen their relationship with God. When your child joins our school, we embark on a journey together, a journey unknown but yet full of endless possibilities.

Our teaching and support staff are committed to ensuring that every child makes good progress, of course they are, however in St Raphael's we are committed to developing the whole child. We are committed to making sure that every child leaves our school knowing that they have a responsibility for others, that they are the eyes of Christ in this world, they are His hands, they are His feet.

We are committed to making sure every child leaves our school understanding that  they need to keep themselves healthy, enjoy sport and being active, play an instrument and take part in team activities.

Safeguarding is our prime concern and so all staff working at St Raphael's Catholic Primary school are committed to safe working practices and keeping our pupils safe.

The children at St. Raphael’s know they are a source of great pride to us; they respond to the high standards set for them. We look forward to working with our established families, and those who are new to our school, to make every child’s time here happy and successful.
