RE Pupil Chaplains

The Role of the Chaplaincy Team

  • To support the school in emphasising its spirituality and Catholicity as set out in the school’s mission statement;
  • To support and encourage the school community’s pastoral care for the pupils, staff, parents and parish;
  • To promote, plan and organise the celebration of liturgies and collective worship and co-operate with others in developing the school as a Catholic community;
  • To assist in developing an awareness of God in our everyday lives, being a voice for social justice in our community and our world

RE Pupil Chaplains Training Day

On 10th October 2023, Miss Wall accompanied our RE Pupil Chaplains to St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Hanwell for a training day with Sister Judith.

The children learned what it means to be a RE Pupil Chaplain and created action plans for the year ahead.

Prayers for Peace

Our RE Pupil Chaplains lead prayers for peace every Friday in our Peace Garden at 12:45 pm. It is an opportunity for children in KS2 to gather together to pray for peace in our world and is a call to action for all children in response to our Catholic Social Teaching.
