EYFS at St Raphael’s Primary School

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) applies to children from birth to the end of the Reception year. At St Raphael’s Primary School, children join the Nursery (FS1) at the age of three and will join Reception class (FS2) in the year that they turn five. In partnership with parents and carers, we enable the children to begin the process of becoming active learners for life.

At St Raphael’s Primary School, we ensure that children are safe, healthy, and supported to learn and grow. Our aim is to prepare them for school by developing a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for future learning and life.
