Acts of Kindness
Week 1: The focus is on serving those in need
Please try to complete one of these acts of kindness this week.
A simple prayer to reflect on:
God, help us to see the needs of others and serve them with unconditional love, respect and honour, Amen.
What you can do:
- Check in with someone who seems lonely (and/or send them a card)
Read: James 1 : 27
- Take some books and toys you no longer read and play with to donate them to your local charity shop
Read: Proverbs 5 : 11
- Write a surprise thank you note to someone who helps you (your parent/carer, a teacher, a family member)
Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:11
RE Pupil Chaplain Commissioning 20th December 2024
The Role of the Chaplaincy Team
- To support the school in emphasising its spirituality and Catholicity as set out in the school’s mission statement;
- To support and encourage the school community’s pastoral care for the pupils, staff, parents and parish;
- To promote, plan and organise the celebration of liturgies and collective worship and co-operate with others in developing the school as a Catholic community;
- To assist in developing an awareness of God in our everyday lives, being a voice for social justice in our community and our world
RE Pupil Chaplains Training Day
On 10th October 2023, Miss Wall accompanied our RE Pupil Chaplains to St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Hanwell for a training day with Sister Judith.
The children learned what it means to be a RE Pupil Chaplain and created action plans for the year ahead.
